Using this website

Tom's Exchange House buys and sells used electronics, games and other items in San Diego County. By using this site you agree to these terms.

Offers

Offers are based on your description and photos. The final price is confirmed when we inspect the item in person. If the item doesn't match the description, we may change or withdraw the offer.

Offers expire at the time shown in your offer message.

Meetups and payment

We meet at public, staffed places such as police stations and bank lobbies. You can reschedule or cancel with the link in your confirmation message.

We pay at the meetup once the item has been checked. Bring a government photo ID.

Age and ownership

You must be 18 or older and the legal owner of anything you sell to us. We don't buy stolen or financed items, or phones that are blacklisted or locked to an account.

Buying from the shop

Shop items are pre-owned and tested. Known issues are listed on each item. You can reserve an item or ask about it through the website, and pay in person at local pickup.

Prices and availability can change until an item is reserved for you.
